How to send your parcels

Prepare your items for shipment
There are some goods you cannot ship. Customs will confiscate them.
Carefully study the prohibitions, restrictions and taxes of destination country.
Delivery companies not only refuse transportation of prohibited goods, but also charge a fee from the sender.
You as a sender take legal responsibility for all your shipments. Meanwhile, we are here to support you.
Any kind of weapons or explosive materials

Any flammable or radioactive materials
Illegal drugs and prescription only medicine
Alcohol or alcoholic beverages
Tobacco and tobacco products
Money or any kind of documents

Pack and secure your items
It is your responsibility to pack your items. Find a suitable box and ensure that the items are packed securely.
Unpackaged items will be rejected by the courier and you could potentially be charged a fee.
Carriers often deny compensation for items reported as damaged if the box arrived in good condition, attributing it to insufficient packaging on your part.
Select a box, inspect it for good condition. Remove any previous labels.
Don't send without box. Don't use fabric or cloth bags instead of box.
Avoid placing the item without fillers to prevent it from rolling inside.
Pack your items, surround them with at least 5cm of bubble wrap or soft filler.
Don't use household sellotape, rope or ribbons to seal your parcel.
Use strong parcel tape to seal the package. Apply it on all edges of your parcel.
2. Measure and weigh your parcel
Measure width, height, depth and weight your box after it’s fully packaged.
Weigh and measure the box after you have fully completed the packaging (including the items and fillers).
If your parcel is bigger or heavier than stated on your booking, you may face extra charges from carrier.
Don't measure the weight of the items without the packaging.

3. Book your shipping on sender.lv
Place your order using our website. Specify your parcel details by entering parcel type, weight and destination.
You can send documents, items packed in boxes or pallets.
All discounted prices you see are only available when booking through sender.lv.

Done. Once your order is processed, obtain and print the shipping label.
4. Submit your parcel for shipping
Make sure to stick the obtained shipping label on top of the parcel. Use sealing tape to secure it additionally.
Parcels without shipping label may be rejected by the courier and you could potentially be charged a fee.
If you are unable to print a shipping label, certain carriers offer an additional service to print it for you.
If you opt to send from a parcel locker, you can print a label for free using the embedded printer at the locker.
When sending a pallet, please specify whether you require an elevator in case you don't have one.
When sending from a parcel locker, place your parcel inside within 5 days.
When choosing from door delivery, wait for the courier to arrive and hand over your parcel.
